NOTE: A
Timer may have up to six Remote Displays (one standard
plus up to five optional). The first five show two
types of data: 1) the elapsed time for the event
assigned to the Display, continuously updated during
the event; and, 2) the average time for the event
computed over the daypart, shift, day, week, month,
or year to date (as selected by the user), after
the car leaves the station. The average time is re-computed
after each car leaves the event assigned to the Display,
and is shown by flashing numerals once the event
station is no longer occupied. |

|
3. |
Press to
move the cursor to the desired Remote(s).
NOTE: If you do
not know the number associated with a particular
Remote Display, remove and reconnect the five-pin
connector atop the Display. Do not remove the
connector by pulling on the gray cable; remove
it only by pulling on its black base. The unit then
goes through a power-up sequence and displays the
address of the Remote (the first number displayed).
IMPORTANT! While
Remote Displays that show the time of the same event
can have either the same or different addresses,
if you want two or more Remote Displays to show the
time of different events, each display must be set
to a different address. (If the Displays
address is 001, it will show the time that Remote
#1 is programmed to show as indicated on the Remote
Display screen. If a Remotes address is 002,
it will show the time that
Remote #2 is programmed to show, etc.) |
| 4. |
Press to
move the cursor immediately to the right of the individual
Remote address number(s) (i.e., #1). |
| 5. |

monitoring. |
| 6. |

move the cursor to [AVG]. |
7. |

DAILY; WEEKLY; MONTHLY; ALT). The averaging period
applies to all Remote Displays. If you select a blank
value, no averages will be flashed between events.
OPTION: The optional
sixth Remote Display serves as a Special Percentage
Remote, which can be used as a monitor of service
speed, as well as a performance incentive for crew
members. It shows, in either red or green numerals,
the percentage of cars that satisfy the A-grade target
time for the event monitored by the Display. If the
percentage of cars satisfying the A-grade target
time is below a percentage selected by the user,
the Display numerals will be red. If the percentage
is equal to or higher than the selected percentage,
the numerals will be green. |
8. |

move the cursor to the sixth (last) Remote position
(note that the default setting is 80%). |

NOTE: Depending
on the model of the Timer, time data is shown either
in
minutes:seconds or in seconds only. Time data is displayed
only during the
hours the store is open. When closed, only a colon
(two vertical dots) is shown
on a minutes:seconds Display; a seconds only Display
is blank.
